OEWD will be hosting open computer lab hours in the 311 computer lab at One South Van Ness Avenue, 2nd floor on Tuesday December 10 from 9:00am-1:00pm. Any proposers who are interested in hands on technical assistance submitting their proposal are welcome to bring their log ons and a USB drive with their pre-typed answers. There is no formal presentation planned and no clarification on the RFP will be given during this session. The lab will close promptly at 1:00pm.
No RSVPs are required -- lab space will be available on a first come basis. Please allow time to check in with building security on the first floor before proceeding to the computer lab.
Current Funding Opportunities
OEWD, Human Services Agency (HSA), and Department of Public Health (DPH) are proud to announce the posting of Request for Proposals (RFP) #115. Through this RFP, funding will be made available to organizations to provide workforce development supports and services to San Francisco jobseekers.
The strategic priority of this RFP is to maximize the impact of each of the individual departments by coordinating a stronger system of services aligned along a common workforce development framework. The specific services being solicited are:
1. Transitional Employment Support
2. IPO Program: Basic Skills Development & Behavioral Health Services
3. SFUSD Construction Initiative
4. Adult Basic Education & Vocational Skills Training
You may download a pdf copy of RFP 115 by clicking here.
All proposals must be submitted electronically through the designated online proposal system by 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2013. No exceptions.
The online proposal system will be available for proposers to review and begin responding to the RFP by 5:00 pm on Wednesday November 20, 2013. To access it, click the TGS icon in the top right hand section of this page. You must have a user account in order to access the online system; instructions on new account set-up and adjusting current user accounts can be found here. You may set up a new account before November 20, 2013; however, the RFP may not be available for review or response until 5pm on November 20, 2013.
Please note that a TGS icon also appears on the Mayor’s Office of Housing’s Community Development Division’s website. The TGS icon found there does not point to the same database. User accounts are also distinct between the two departments. If your organization submitted a proposal to OEWD’s RFP 113 the same user name and password can be used in OEWD’s TGS. If you did not submit a proposal to RFP 113 you may need to establish a new profile including user name and password in OEWD’s TGS. Please see the instructions above concerning new account set up for assistance.
