This document includes preliminary funding recommendations for San Francisco's 2013-2014 anticipated CDBG allocation including programs funded through OEWD’s Economic and Workforce Development Divisions as well as the Mayor’s Office of Housing.  Workforce Development recommendations can be found under Goal 1, Objectives 4, 5, and 6.  Please note that recommendations listed under Goal 1, Objective 5 are a combination of MOH and OEWD recommendations. 

The preliminary funding recommendations list available through the link above does not include information concerning Workforce Investment Act (WIA) sources.  WIA recommendations are expected to be posted here in the coming weeks. Please check back regularly for updates.

The Mayor’s Office of Housing in conjunction with the Citizen’s Committee on Community Development is hosting a public hearing on the Draft 2013-14 Action Plan which includes the preliminary recommendations listing.

Closed funding opportunities

Request for Proposals (RFP) #113 for workforce development programs utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Workforce Investment Act (WIA), and other funding sources closed at 5p on Thursday January 17, 2013. It is anticipated that this RFP will guide funding decisions for multiple years beginning with 2013-14.
