OEWD Workforce Development Division RFP/RFQ Process

The City and County of San Francisco (City) utilizes competitive bidding procedures to select service vendors. This process requires that all City vendors comply with City ordinances and other requirements (City, State and Federal, as applicable) prior to entering into a contract with the City.

Current Funding Opportunities

The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) are pleased to announce the availability of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a 2014-15 program to support various activities across the following programs: Legal Services and Education, Community Engagement and Planning, Self-Sufficiency and Service Connection, Housing Counseling,  Capacity Building/Technical Assistance, and Self-Sufficiency and Service Connection for Asian Pacific Islander Communities.  
 
The Request for Proposals is available electronically on MOHCD’s website at www.sfmohcd.org or for pick-up at 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 5th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103. Alternative formats for persons with disabilities will be available upon request to MOHCD’s ADA Coordinator, Eugene Flannery at 701-5598 or eugene.flannery@sfgov.org.
 
Submissions (original plus three copies) must be received by 5:00 pm on:  Wednesday, August 27, 2014.
 
MOHCD and OEWD will conduct a technical assistance workshop to assist interested applicants in assessing the eligibility and scope of proposed projects, and in completing the required elements of the proposal.
