Please note: This document includes Preliminary Funding Recommendations for San Francisco's 2010-2011 anticipated allocation of:
-
CDBG Workforce and Economic Development designated funds (procured through OEWD in RFP#108),
-
Other CDBG funds, ESG [Emergency Shelter Grant] Program funds, and HOPWA [Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aid] Program funds (procured through the Mayor's Office of Housing RFP process).
It does not include funding recommendations for WIA-funded Proposal Areas in RFP#108 (i.e. Proposal Areas I and II). Recommendations for these Proposal Areas are expected to be posted here in the coming weeks. Please check back regularly for updates.

The Office of Economic and Workforce Development is pleased to announce the availability of our Request for Proposals (RFP) # 108.
All proposals must be submitted electronically through the designated online proposal system by 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2010. No exceptions. For additional details please review the OEWD Public Announcement.

Instructions for Access to Agency Information Registration and RFP Application The document you can download to the left provides instructions to access the online RFP system (including Agency Information Registration) beginning January 5, 2010.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is Thursday, February 4, 2010, 5:00pm (this is a strict deadline; the ‘Submit’ button on the final page of the online RFP must be clicked by an Organization Admin-level user by this time -- the online ‘Submit’ button will be disabled once the deadline arrives).
You must first register your agency, set up user accounts and provide information about your organization prior to accessing the online RFP form (this is so you can either enter new agency information or review/update existing agency information so records are correct prior to submitting a proposal).

Announcement: Request for Proposals (RFP) #108 for Economic and Workforce Development Programs
The Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) is pleased to announce the availability of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2010-2011 economic and workforce development programs under three funding sources: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) tax increment funding.
The RFP will be posted on OEWD’s website at http://www.oewd.org/Economic-Development-Funding.aspx and http://www.oewd.org/Workforce_Development_Funding.aspx beginning Monday, December 21, 2009 by 5pm. Alternative formats for persons with disabilities will be available upon request to OEWD (see contact information in the Public Announcement document). All proposals must be submitted electronically through the designated online proposal system by 5:00 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2010. No exceptions.
