International Chambers of Commerce

San Francisco is proud to host over 84 consulates representing the governmental interests of virtually all the major countries of the world. Additionally, many trade commissions and investment organizations representing countries, provinces and even cities have established offices in SF and the Bay Area—including Osaka Prefecture, State of Victoria-Australia, Czech Trade Office, Singapore Investment Board, Aichi Prefecture Office (Japan), Welsh Development Authority, Irish Development Board, JETRO (Japan Export Trade Organization), KOTRA (Korean Trade Office) and Austrade (Australian Trade Office). San Francisco is also home to numerous international Chambers of Commerce—both social and business organizations—such as Swedish-American Chamber, British Chamber, Korean Chamber, Australian Chamber, Japanese Chamber, Singapore American Business Association, Hong Kong Association, French Chamber, German-American Chamber, Italian-Am Chamber, and now the first office of the Russian Chamber of Commerce in the United States.

  EXPANDING TRADE
“The support and guidance of OEWD's International Trade and Commerce Division greatly helped us create and open the first official Vietnam Trade Office in the United States. We are pleased to continue our work with the office as it supports our goal of expanded trade between our two countries.”
